Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Technical Solutions Division Exercises Options On Naval Modernization Contract

March 16, 2017 – Huntington Ingalls announced today that its Technical Solutions division recently received a modification to a previously awarded contract to provide maintenance, modernization and Chief of Naval Operations availabilities on amphibious-class ships (LSD, LPD, LHD) homeported in San Diego.

The original contract was awarded to HII’s Continental Maritime of subsidiary. Continental Maritime was consolidated under Technical Solutions in when HII acquired , a government services company headquartered in . Work will be performed by Technical Solutions’ and, if all options are exercised, the work is expected to be completed by March 2018.
